Bürkle GmbH was founded in 1950 by Otto Bürkle in Stuttgart as a commercial agency for pharmaceutical products and plastic lab equipment. After his death in 1972, his son Veit Bürkle took over the company, re-locating to Lörrach in 1981 in order to start new production there. The company moved its location to Bad Bellingen, Germany in 2008. The site includes a production building, warehouse and a modern office building on an area of 18,000 square metres.
Today, Bürkle offers Europe's most comprehensive product line in manual samplers and filling machines. The clear focus must be on safety when bottling aggressive liquids, and on reliable information about quality, properties or composition when sampling. Bürkle products are manufactured exclusively in Germany. The highest quality possible and constant innovation are top priorities for Bürkle.
Ever since 1994, Bürkle has been certified according to DIN/EN ISO 9001 by the Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen (German Agency for the Certification of Management Systems).

Many products have been developed in a practice-orientated manner during collaborations with companies in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries based in the Basel area. The Bürkle barrel pump made of stainless steel AISI 304 (1.4301) is suitable for filling combustible and easily flammable liquids. The barrel pump can conduct electricity and therefore fulfills the requirements for handling flammable liquids in combination with the accessory antistatic set.The PTFE gaskets ensure long-term and maintenance-free use. Pumping capacity approx. 9–22 l/min, dependent on pump length.The wide range of accessories makes it possible to adapt the pump to very different requirements.

The 25 l container can be stacked.Protection from exploding through flame protection and excess pressure valve, seals made of PTFE, the containers have a high degree of chemical resistance.In safety containers with excess pressure valve, pressure balance takes place from about 0.3 bar.For containers with self-closing tap, constant ventilation can be set via a plastic lever on the screw cap.The contents display made of perfluoroalkoxy copolymers (PFA) enables a visual contents check when filling and emptying.

Draining rack made of plastic, shatterproof, proven thousands of times in the lab and adjusted to the requirements there.The stable rods are individually placed into the holes of the draining rack and are clicked into place. Their positions can be changed at any time. Using a combination of rods of three different lengths (60 mm, 100 mm and extension to 150 mm), the draining rack can be adapted to any apparatus which is to be dried.
